In his [Fr. Franz Hürth’s] annotations, by way of an appendix (in order to satisfy the requests of many), a few things are added concerning the weight and theological value of ALLOCUTIONS. For this purpose three things are considered, a) the matter of which they treat, b) the listeners to whom they are addressed, c) the person by whom they are delivered.
